In 1927, the church was transferred to Košice with the consent of the owner, where it was installed in the museum. A year before the transfer of the wooden church to Košice, a new brick church was built in Kožuchovce, dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin. The wooden temple was substantially repaired in 1959.
From the construction point of view, the church is three-part, three-towered with three crosses. It has a simple log construction, at the tower there is a columnar construction, which narrows considerably upwards. The tower is set in the vestibule and is lined with boards and leaves. On the smaller cone there is an onion with a narrow higher cone and a one-armed decorative cross with a lunette. The body of the nave and the sanctuary is partly lined with slabs and partly with larger shingles. The tower is finished with an onion and a decorative single-armed cross. The roof of the sanctuary, which has a small basement with an onion and a one-armed decorative cross, is similarly designed. The entrance to the temple is from the western part to the vestibule.
At present, the church is without an iconostasis and other liturgical objects. These should be in the collections of the Košice Museum, or in private collections, perhaps even abroad. The fact is that the temple has been devalued and cannot serve even the exceptional liturgies on the day of the temple holiday.
