ozorno lies near the western slopes of the Little Carpathians in the southern part of the Záhorská lowland. The village is located in the picturesque Záhorie, which boasts several protected natural biotypes of European importance. A characteristic feature of the sandy area of the village is, in addition to the peaks of the surrounding mountains, also the green beauty of the forests with which the village is protected.
The historical past of the village and its rich religious, social and cultural life is embodied by several architectural monuments and statues. In the historical center of the village there is a sacral building of the parish church dedicated on November 24, 1630 in honor of St. Catherine of Alexandria, virgin and martyr. The current appearance of the church is made of brick, which our ancestors made themselves - they mixed and trampled literally with their own hands and feet. The baroque chapel of St. dates from 1729. Vendelín, protector of cattle. Other ancient monuments are the roadside statues of St. Ján Nepomucký, patron saint of millers and protector against floods, in the park in front of the municipal office, and St. Florián, patron saint of firefighters and fire brigade in Lozorno - the oldest public voluntary association in the village. The place of honor near the church belongs to the monument to the Victims of World War 1914 - 1918, which perpetuates the memory of 60 fallen soldiers from Lozorno (period photographs have also been preserved for some names).
