Brezová pod Bradlom has a rich history and cultural traditions. It has always been the place of work or home of many important personalities of Slovak political, religious or cultural life. The monuments of Jozef Miloslav Hurban, Samuel Jurkovič, Štefan Osuský or Ján Papánek are a reminder of the significance of the life and work of personalities. The city hosts traditional cultural events every year, which have their model in our ancient past, customs and traditions.
The city provides all basic services to its citizens and visitors. There are two kindergartens, a primary school, a primary art school, a leisure center and a city library, a health center, pharmacies, a network of shops and services. Several sports facilities, especially a football field, multifunctional courts, tennis courts, swimming pool, playgrounds and parks provide standard conditions for the development of sports and meaningful use of leisure time.
