Although many of them are now demolished or dilapidated, many historic buildings are still breathing. Like the dominant of Dubník, the late Gothic manor of the Csúzy family. It was built in 1680. He remembers such names as Matej Bel, František Palacký, but also Franz Schubert and Ferenc Liszt. Today it is a cultural monument. Dubník itself has been known since 1236 under the name Chus. After 1948, it was named Dubník. It lies in the Danubian Lowland at the western foot of the Pohronská Uplands. The western flat part of the area lies on wide terraces, the eastern part of the area is located on the ridges of the hills. Pleasant events of the inhabitants of the village are various events, such as the construction of "May", family day, a traditional celebration on the day of the village. Fishermen can catch fish in one of the two ponds. One is breeding and in the other there are competitions in sport fishing.

The first written mention of Dubník, which today has more than 1,600 inhabitants, dates from 1236. Since then, up to 14 mansions and manors have grown here, the most famous of which, the Czúzy family manor, is very popular with tourists.

However, the village does not live only from its history. It is constantly evolving and ensuring that the quality of life of citizens increases. A pleasant diversification of the local life are, of course, various events, such as competitions in sport carp fishing, July days of the village or the consecration of new bread in August. However, in addition to such events, citizens also receive other attention here.
