The village of Sihla

The small village of Sihla is located in the Veporské vrchy. The first written mention of the village comes from 1744.

The Kamenistý brook springs in the village, which flows through the 25-kilometer-long Kamenistý valley through the secret Hrončok. An asphalt road runs along the stream, which is an ideal route for cyclists. In the village there is the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the SNP monument on Tlstom Maple. You can also see here a herd of strong Hucul horses bred without housing.
