In the wider area there is also the famous spa town of Trenčianske Teplice with healing springs used to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal and nervous system. The advantage is the proximity to the border with the Czech Republic.
The village itself boasts interesting sights. In the part of Adamovce, on the edge of an English park, there is a baroque mansion from the half. 18th century with preserved original decoration, included among the cultural monuments of Slovakia, in the part of Kochanovce is a classicist manor house from the beginning. 19th century and a baroque church with a valuable interior.
In terms of the administrative division of Slovakia, the village belongs to the Trenčín self-governing region, to the district of Trenčín.
