The southern border of the cadastral territory of the village is formed by Čierna voda with old meanders (dead branches), characterized by coastal vegetation, wetlands, meadows and meanders with willow - poplar stands. In the cadastral area there is Stoličný stream, which has similar characteristics as Čierna voda and Úľanská mokraď, which surrounds it. About 700 m south of the village Lúčny Dvor is the Little Danube.
An important characteristic of the local nature is the diversity and richness of birds. As part of the Natura 2000 project, the area covering the area of Úľany ponds and floodplains was declared a protected bird area of supraregional pan-European importance. Protected area Pusté Úľany - Zeleneč with a total area of 21,240 ha is one of the three most important areas in Slovakia for nesting species: Circus aeruginosus and Circus pygargus. More than 1% of the national population of Ixobrychus minutus, Galerida cristana, Coturnix coturnic, Falco vespertinus, Falco cherrug and Milvus migrans nest here regularly.
