The village of Žlkovce was formed by one street, which was interrupted in the middle by a shorter street in the direction from Hliník to Červeník. The main street stretches towards Ratkoviec. The shorter road to Červeník became more important during the construction of the nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice.
At present, it is the main connection to the 1st class road from Trnava to Piešťany. It crosses the church with the main street of the village.
