Voderady is first mentioned in medieval written sources in 1243 in the metation of Zelenča. In the first half of the 18th century, Count František Ziči, who lived in Győr, became a landowner. The dominant feature of Voderád is still the seat of the family - a manor house with an extensive park, which, despite their unflattering condition, is a national cultural monument. At present, Voderady has over 1,460 inhabitants. Guides can visit a doctor, dentist, pharmacy, hairdresser, gym, municipal library, events in the culture house as well as events of local sports or hobby organizations.
