Visitors can see a demonstration of period living and life in a farmhouse with original equipment. The pride of Martoviec is the park of the culture of sports and leisure, it includes an amphitheater, sports facilities, a rope park. Every year at the beginning of July, the summer festival MARTFEST takes place in the village. The surrounding flat region is not monotonous, its variety and diversity is created by poplar groves, willows lining rivers, flower meadows and many watercourses and lakes. At higher water levels, the village resembles Venice. Local ponds once supplied royal cuisine. Near Martoviec are the protected areas Alúvium Žitavy and Gémeš with many rare swamp animals. The surroundings of the village are among the warmest areas in Slovakia.
