The village of Šípkové is located 11 km northwest of the town of Piešťany.
We are looking for a village with 320 inhabitants in the southeast of the Little Carpathians 15 km from the spa in Piešťany. We have read about Šípkov since 1349. Due to its low population density, the village was designated as an area for "cottage farming". At the northern end of the village rises the hill Bobolka. It hides an unfinished church and cemetery, which is home to rare crosses. The Málová nature reserve allows you to see a unique large-flowered dandelion. The Veľký Plešivec hill with beautiful views and the Majer locality are also interesting.
