The city of Vysoké Tatry covers an area of 360 km2 and its area is one of the largest cities in the Slovak Republic. It covers a substantial part of the mountain range of the same name and consists of 15 parts of the city, originally separate settlements, which were gradually integrated into one territorial unit.
