Currently, 3,386 inhabitants live in Štrba and local parts. It is a modern village where youth blends with traditional customs. It is interesting that every day we can see women of the older generation in Štrbské folk costume. Next to modern residential houses we find original wooden houses and barns. In addition to traditional agricultural production, the village is experiencing a great expansion of tourism, tourism and recreation. The business network in the village is at a good level.
In the village there are several guesthouses, cottages, offering a wide range of accommodation and catering services. Private accommodation is at a very good level. The village does not lag behind in the field of culture, as evidenced by many events, folklore ensembles, general television broadcasting and Štrbské noviny.
