We have in mind the most important monument of the village of Semerovo, which is the Roman plaque of Emperor Marcus Aurelius Severus Alexander from 229, which is bricked in the wall of the local Roman Catholic parish Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The church itself is also an important monument, dating from 1712, which is located in the local Catholic cemetery. The Jewish cemetery from 1777 with a reference to the future also attracts attention here. From the 18th century, the village had a really nice future. In 1906 a general voluntary fire brigade was established here, in 1933 a football club, later a theater ensemble Smile, an association of the disabled and a hunting company was founded here. Even Matica slovenská with the variety-folklore ensemble Semerovčan is based here. Many social events are regularly held in the village. Let us mention, for example, popular carnival festivities, three-day feast festivities on the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, a night of theaters, discos, concerts and regular theater premieres. In addition to culture and entertainment, there is also space for education. The village houses a primary school with its own gym, dining room and sports complex, as well as a kindergarten. The village of Semerovo is definitely a nice place to live.
