The village of Bohemia

The name of the village was influenced by a historical event, when 600 years ago Czech Hussite refugees immigrated to the area of the current village. Three hundred inhabitants today and about a hundred cottagers live in one of the smallest villages in the district.

Bohemia lies northeast of Nové Zámky in the southwestern part of the Pohronská uplands. Surrounded by forests and surrounded by hills from the east and west, the village creates a picturesque scenery. The biggest attraction is the operation of the smallest and southernmost ski resort "lowland type" with technical snow. The village is also part of the Termál Microregion with a natural center in Podhájská.
