Paper is made by hand here without the use of wood pulp, and the main raw material in its production is cotton. In addition to the excursion, visitors can try to make their own paper.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1262 under the name Petrus, but its area was inhabited in the Neolithic, but there was also a settlement and burial ground from the period of Great Moravia. The village is dominated by a church, built in 1906 on the site of a historic articular church. There are interesting historical walls in the village, the origin of which is not entirely clear, but the locals call them "Hussite walls". A local nature trail leads here. In the area of the village meanders the river Myjava, which is declared in these places as a nature reserve protected by the fourth degree of protection. The lookout tower on Lipovec above the settlement of Rehušovci is also a frequent destination for tourists.
