In the small village of Kuklov, traditional rolling mills and associated weaving were developed in the past.
The village of Kuklov is located in the north of the Záhorská lowland on a flat terrace and the Myjava floodplain. The village is first mentioned as Kyklew in 1394. It became the birthplace of Andrej Žarnov, an important poet of Catholic modernism, and Juraj Papánek, who is considered the first Slovak historian. The most important monument is the Roman Catholic Classicist Church of St. Stephen, king, from the end of the 18th century, but whose core dates from 1330.
