Since 1938, Bellova Ves has been an independent administrative unit, where 26 Moravian families, 25 Slovak families, 9 Hungarian families and 1 Czech family lived. A one-class Slovak school was also opened in the village. The Fire Brigade and Food Cooperative was founded in the village. The village had its own library with 207 volumes of books. In 1938 it fell to Hungary. After 1945, it became part of the village of Tonkovce, from which it became independent in 1955. In the years 1976 - 1990 it was part of the village Blahová. Since 1991, it is again an independent municipality.
There are no registered monuments in the municipality registered in the Central List of Monuments of the Slovak Republic. Due to the short history of the settlement of the village, no specific traditions have been preserved here.
