Our village in its current form has existed for 50 years and consists of four earlier independent settlements. First, the former villages of Malý Máger and Tonkovce were merged, to which the villages of Eliášovce and Vojtechovce were later connected. Under the common name Nový Život, the functioning administrative unit was preserved even after the so-called gentle revolution.
