In the east, the upland part of Mesolithic limestones, sandstones, shales and less Tertiary claystones and sandstones, is forested with deciduous forests. The protected landscape area "Malé Karpaty" extends into the area of the village. In the western part of the area, the Rudava stream flows, which, increasing many streams, thickens into a small river and flows into Moravia. The village of Prievaly is surrounded by two streams: Ambrúvka and Hlavinský stream, which flow into Rudava. The village itself is situated on a hilly terrain, slightly undulating, of the type of a street village with a village square. In the older vacant development, several old peasant dwellings have been preserved. At present, these dwellings are intertwined with the new construction of family houses and several apartment buildings.
