The village is bordered by villages: in the north with Naháč, in the south with Dolná Krupa, in the east with Horný Dubový and in the west with Bíňovce. To the west of the village flows the Bíňovský stream. The climate is mild. The hare, partridge and pheasant live from field animals in our area. Occasionally, doe, roe deer, doe and wild boar also emerge from the neighboring forests. Forests only in a small area are located south of the village near the grove and north in Vinohrady. Grass grows on the southern slopes of the Little Carpathians below Vinohrady.
The area of the cadastre is as follows: 763 ha of arable land, 30 ha of meadows, 40 ha of pastures and 10 ha of forest. Agriculture is less profitable, foothills. Wheat, rye, barley, oats, potatoes, corn, sugar beet, fodder beet, in the past also cabbage and, in the small part, vegetables are grown. Clover meadows also thrive on fodder.
The houses are built on both sides of the road and form a street. In the north of the village stood 2 mills and a master, which was owned by the county in Dolná Krupa. There is an inn in the middle of the village.
