The village of Hrkovce after independence is today a modern village with clear ideas about further development. In less than 6 years, the village has been gasified, the reconstruction of municipal radio, public lighting, complete reconstruction of municipal office, including state-of-the-art computer technology (internet, digital maps, etc.), extension of cultural house and equipment and complete reconstruction of public space (road repair, sidewalks, bus waiting areas, repair of municipal buildings, etc.).
