The village of Malé Ludince was inhabited in the Neolithic. In the village is an archaeologically documented settlement with fluted ceramics. The village has been documented since 1255 as Vlud, later Vlued, Wlued (1293), KischOelwéd (1786), Malé Ludince (1920), Hungarian Kisölved.
The village belonged to the Esztergom archbishopric. In 1571 it had 16 families, in 1715 it had 17 households, in 1720 it had 23 households, in 1828 it had 56 houses and 340 inhabitants. . The employment of the inhabitants did not change even after 1918. In the years 1938 - 1945, the village was annexed to Hungary.
