The village of Trakovice lies 8 kilometers west of Hlohovec. The most important monument is the church of St. Stephen. Before its construction, there was a chapel in the village, which was to be erected by an unknown inhabitant of the village. The chapel was dedicated to St. Alexei. Mass was served here on the feast of St. Alexei and she had no power of indulgences. It was a brick building, relatively small and for some time this sacral building was abandoned.

The canonical visitation from 1756 (Visitatio canonica Révyiána de anno 1756) also lists the chapel's inventory, which consisted of a gilded copper goblet, a missal, a paten and other objects needed to serve Mass. In 1788, the chapel allegedly burned down and has not been restored since then. From the chapel, apparently, only the image of St. Alexei, now housed in a church that was built for religious purposes instead of the original chapel.
