The eastern part of the village is intensively used for agriculture, the western edge is lined with floodplain forests. Despite the intensive use of the land, areas have been preserved which, by the occurrence of plant and animal species, meet the criteria for stricter protection. Nature around Moravia provides a pleasant environment for relaxation, fishing or quiet observation and learning about plants and animals. The dominant feature of the village is the Church of St. Imrich, the Evangelical bell tower, a small building of the Passion of Christ and a wooden cross from 1921. Kátovci people associate in several associations, such as the Red Cross, the Union of Women or the Union of Pensioners. In cooperation with the municipality, they participate in the organization of events, such as the kindergarten carnival, Children's Day, thanks for the harvest, sitting for pensioners, Sweet Sunday, St. Nicholas, a Christmas concert and others. Since 2001, the village has held extremely popular Flower Days every May. New family houses are gradually growing in the Žliabky locality.
