The first mention of our school comes from 1713. The building of the first school in Čierna Voda stood on the site of today's cultural house. They started building the current school in 1927, it was consecrated in 1928 and in the same year the school started its first teaching. 1945 was a year of waiting. Teaching began at the beginning of the year, but only in Slovak. Teaching in Hungarian began in 1951.
