The musical production Zlatá lyra reveals the backstage and presents the Bratislava lyra festival as a phenomenon of the time, without nostalgia, without idealization, but with insight, humor and naming the defects of the former regime, which presented this extremely watched and popular event as a showcase of the culture of socialist Czechoslovakia. Behind the opulent normalizing visuals, however, it also reveals the nudity and perversion of the time, which often led to the suppression of personal freedom and opinions.
