The church was built in 1851 in the classicist style. Feast of St. Stephen is canonized on August 16. On the main facade of the church, divided by pilasters, a missionary cross with the inscription: "Save your soul" is fixed on the left side. Sv. mission/1949". In front of the church stands the Marian monument from 1855 and the monument to those who died in the First World War. The church was renovated in 1908, a larger sacristy was added in 2004, and the most recent renovation took place in 2005-2010. Today, the church is a National Cultural Monument.
