The grapes are processed on modern equipment by stalk removal, stalk removal and grinding or pressing of whole bunches, depending on the quality of the raw material, variety and type of wine we want to produce. Pressing on high-quality pneumatic presses and controlled fermentation through temperature control, desilting of musts and application of selected yeast cultures is a natural standard. White and rosé wines are matured exclusively in stainless steel containers. Red wines are aged for at least a year in oak barrels.
With its portfolio of adjective wines, LVD regularly participates in domestic and foreign wine exhibitions, where it receives various awards, diplomas, medals that reflect the quality work of both an agronomist and a wine production technologist. The team’s wines offer a wide range of white, rosé and red wines. In particular, white aromatic and red wines receive the highest awards. It is possible to buy them in our own wine shop directly in LVD, as well as many wine shops throughout Slovakia. You will also find them in restaurants and hotels. The cooperative uses the classic cellar vaulted representative spaces for various presentations of its wines, as well as for rent, mainly to its customers.
