We make all white dry wines using the "sur lie" method for at least 6 months. This gives them wonderful fullness and elegance, while gaining a maturing potential that is not typical for white dry wines. We let the red wines mature in barriques and after maturing for at least 6 months we fill them into bottles without filtration. They excel in fullness, softness and high maturing potential.
Sweet wines are the most demanding in terms of production, but they are still our sweetheart. Each variety in the sweet design will reveal its maximum potential and yet it can always surprise us. These wines abound in high extractivity, powerful aftertaste and maturing potential, which can be up to decades. All the wines we produce are limited editions in the number of only a few hundred pieces of bottles, so there is no need to hesitate for a long time why to have Žitavské vinice at home in the archive.

Tasting after an agreement on the date and number of people takes place in a pleasant environment of a historic house, one of the oldest in Úľany. The price of the tasting includes only open bottles of wine, of course there is a small snack in the form of cheese, pastries and mineral water. The standard length of tasting is in the range of 1.5 to two hours with 8-10 samples. The type of wines presented depends only on your taste, whether we focus on fresh white dry, massive red, or a wonderfully varied palette of sweet wines.
