The military cemetery was demarcated by the city of Trnava in 1784. It is located on the Nitrianska road near the Evangelical cemetery. Soldiers of the former Austro-Hungarian army, several who died in the First World War, as well as many officers and sergeants during the first Czechoslovak Republic were buried here. Those who died in the Military Institute for the Mentally Ill in Trnava were also buried here.
