History
The red-marked route passes the ruins of Dobrovodský Castle, which they built as a guard fortress when crossing the mountains, probably in the 13th century on the site of an older fort, after which part of the earth fortifications has been preserved to this day. From the middle of the 18th century, the castle was deserted and its demise was completed by a fire in 1762. Remains of the castle palace walls, towers, chapels and fortifications overgrown with vegetation have been preserved from the castle.
