The demise of the fort is related to the number of metal shots from the inside and outside of the ramparts, but the only victim of the military conflict is the defender killed in the third gate. The attackers used the same shots as the defenders. Thus, the extinction was not brought by the invaders from the east, but by mutual conflicts between domestic groups between 570 and 560 BC, probably related to the emerging culture of nomads in the Carpathian Basin, known as the Vekerzug culture.
