The Astorka Korzo '90 Theater adheres to the tradition of the Na korze Theater, which was administratively abolished during the normalization process in the 1970s. The Na korze Theater was especially famous for its innovative approach in the field of directing and dramaturgy and the presentation of small stage forms, which at that time were absent in the tradition of Slovak theater.

At present, the theater presents an attractive repertoire for spectators, based on the acting of the ensemble's personalities. The members of the ensemble are such names as Boris Farkaš, Miroslav Noga, Zita Furková, Marta Sládečková, Anna Šišková, Szidi Tobias, Matej Landl and Vlado Černý. He works as an internal director at the Juraj Nvota Theater. Scenographer Aleš Votava also worked here at one time, and his stage creations were often awarded the DOSKY prize for the best scenography.

Performances prepared by a group of creators are an extraordinary event on the Slovak theater scene every year and are successfully presented at Slovak, Czech and foreign international festivals.
