SDT is an independent dance-theater body based on a project system without permanent artistic operation. He collaborates with the best dance performers of the contemporary Slovak scene. His repertoire includes five titles of total theater, which combine music, dance and dramatic elements: Firebird, Swan, ... on Your Graves, Bolero / Mother's Story, Romeo and Juliet ... During its existence, SDT has realized more than 200 performances in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and cities in Central Europe. Ján Ďurovčík's work, Bolero / Mother's Story, premiered as the only body of this format at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. In the 2008/2009 theater season, SDT dancers completed the successful The Firebird World Tour. During it he performed in New York, London, Krakow, Amsterdam, Bytom and Antwerp.
Ján Ďurovčík's latest title for SDT - Carmen - premiered in March 2010 and is currently on a nationwide tour.
