The wine-growing village of Suchá nad Parnou is not only known for its many famous natives, but also for its cultural, historical and natural attractions, with which the nature trail will acquaint us. The village was famous in the 20th century by several natives: poet Viliam Turčány (1928), translator and publicist Blahoslav Hečko (1915 - 2002), translator Víťazoslav Hečko (1919 - 1972) and especially the writer František Hečko (1905 - 1960), who is here ( in the part of Vlčindol, today Vlčia dolina) he planted the story of his most famous novel from the viticultural environment called Red wine. Until the middle of the 20th century, the center of the village was the Pálffy manor house, on the site of which there is an elementary school.
