The reservoir is located northwest of the village Dolné Dubové, 15 km from Trnava. It has an area of 12 hectares and its task is, in addition to providing space for recreation, also irrigating nearby fields. The regime has ruled in this district for many years: "Catch and release!". Fishermen are prohibited from appropriating any fish caught.
