The theater building, in which the play is still performed, could be built 170 years (1831) by the city of Trnava. There is still a Latin inscription on its façade: Isthanc aedem Thaliae after suit senatus ac popolus Tirnaviensis (This house of Talia was built by the senate and the population of Trnava). The building of the Trnava Municipal Theater is the oldest preserved building of its kind in Slovakia.
