The Malý Straník ski resort is located in the Kysucká vrchovina near the village of Zástranie, in the cadastre of the village of Teplička nad Váhom, 7 km east of Žilina. The resort can also be transported by public transport from Žilina (Na Straník stop, line no. 27).

The resort is skied exclusively on natural snow, there are 2 ski lifts. The large lift has a length of 460 and an elevation gain of 121 m, it provides access to one medium (red) and one easy (blue) slope. The small lift is 250 m long and 40 m high, it is intended for beginners. On the lifts, a portable point ski pass is valid without a time limit.
