The chapel of the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows in Cerov (formerly Malé Šenkvice) was built at the end of the 19th century, in 1888. It was built by Anna Planková. The chapel was built and still stands in front of a row of houses along the road. During its construction, the municipality ensured the import of material and manual work. On the small altar inside the chapel was placed a statue of the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows, which was transferred here from the parish church of St. Anna.

The chapel of the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows in Cerov (formerly Malé Šenkvice) was built at the end of the 19th century, in 1888. It was built by Anna Planková. In the turret of the chapel is a small bell made in 1784 (the tower served as a bell tower until the chapel was built).

The chapel was last renovated at the beginning of the new century (2004), when it received a new façade and the interior of the chapel was enriched with paintings on the theme of the seven pains of the Virgin Mary.
