Old power plant on Staničná street no. 51 in Piešťany was built in 1906. The power plant was active until 1945. Due to its technical and architectural values, it was entered in the list of national cultural monuments. It is said that every Piešťany man had his own brick in it. This idea is developed by a proposal for its reconstruction, which has the ambition to create a place for everyone in it. The new "Eureka center" of the hands - on science type will present the world of energies especially to children and young people, while creating a space for creativity.
