Zborov Castle or Makovica is a castle ruin near the village of Zborov in the Bardejov district. The oldest mentions of the castle come from the beginning of the 14th century. In the years 1364 - 1470 it was the property of the Cudarovs, after their extinction King Matej donated the manor to the Rozgonyi family, who lived here until 1512. After them it passed into the ownership of the Tárczay family, to whom it belonged until 1548. It belonged to the Serédy family in 1548-1601. bought by the Rákoci family.
