Saris Castle is one of the largest medieval castles in Slovakia. Its total built-up area exceeds 2.7 hectares. It is built on Šarišský vrch - a conical andesite 570 m high hill above the town of Veľký Šariš. The location of the hill in the valley of the river Torysa is destined for permanent settlement.
