On the side altar there is a statue of the Madonna from the turn of the 15th - 16th century, in the back of the nave there are three wooden Gothic sculptures of saints and a Baroque stone sculpture by Dionysus Staneti. The Tuscan column of the pulpit has been preserved from the Renaissance period, as well as the baptismal font made of pink marble by the most important Kremnica medalist Krištof Füssel. The church is blessed, church ceremonies are held in it.
In the years 1976 - 1996, the castle complex underwent a comprehensive renovation. During it, in the church of St. Katarína installed a modern organ, one of the best tools in Slovakia. The organ is used not only during religious services, but also for the needs of the museum, which regularly organizes organ concerts by leading domestic and foreign performers and listeners of conservatories. In the summer, the museum co-organizes the well-known Kremnica Castle Organ Festival, and pre-Christmas concerts are also regular. The offer of organ concerts is also diversified by concerts of other chamber and singing musical ensembles, as well as groups and performers presenting compositions outside the field of classical music.
A tower was added to the church in the 15th century. Today it has a Renaissance form, which it received after a fire in 1560. For centuries, it housed guards and declared danger. At present, the guards' room functions as an exhibition and at the same time has the most beautiful view of the city skyline and the surrounding hills. Visitors can get to it by climbing the 127 spiral stone steps.
