Thanks to the implementation of the project, the existing interchangeable transport hub has been reconstructed. At the same time, sidewalks are added in the area for safe access of pedestrians to public passenger transport with barrier-free adaptations, greenery has been reclaimed and mature trees have been planted. To increase the comfort of passengers, a new bus shelter was built, facilities for cyclists in the form of roofed bicycle stands and small furniture fitted. The whole area is illuminated and security cameras are installed in it. As part of the project, 87 new parking spaces were built for passengers who switch to public passenger transport. At the same time, a parking system was installed and a new transport solution was implemented, which increased the safety of all road users.
The construction of the transfer transport terminal was financed from the Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP), whose managing authority is the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic.
