For the FIS 1970 World Championships, 2 bridges were built next to each other in the sports complex. Between the bridges there is a referee's tower, commentary booths were on the south side of the landing area. Since 2010, the bridges belong to the village of Štrba. The middle village has been renovated and is functional. The large bridge does not meet current requirements and serves only as a memorial to the 1970 World Cup.

The HS-100 ski jump and the cross-country ski runs in the Furkot Valley have hosted the Junior World Ski Championships 3 times in their skiing history, in 1990, 2000 and 2009. The last largest event was the European Youth Winter Olympic Games (EYOD) in 1999. , where 2224 participants from 19 countries were accredited.
