The single-nave longitudinal space with the presbytery is built on the foundations of an older Gothic building. On the façade, this is documented by supporting pillars and windows terminated by a broken arch. The sanctuary is also vaulted with the original Gothic vault. The church was rebuilt to its present form at the end of the 17th century. The barrel lunette vault in the nave decorated with mother-of-pearl and armadillo suggests a connection to the decoration of the parish church, but in a reduced form.

The furniture of the church is mostly Baroque. The interior is particularly interesting for the main Baroque altar with the central statue of the Immaculate Conception and two side altars from the same period. Neither the pulpit nor the original baptismal font, which is known from period photographs, have been preserved.
