According to the detailed information given in the documentary documents at the Kátlov parish for the central Holy Cross, it is stated: “The first, stone statue of the crucified Christ, stood on the border of three districts - Kátlov, Chtelnice and tar. Juraj Martinovič had it made and financially ensured its maintenance. On September 14, 1774, the statue, together with the other two stone statues mentioned below, was solemnly consecrated by the parish priest from Horní Orešany and the vice-archdeacon Adam Markovič from Smolenice. ”
The transfer of this statue was also mentioned in information given only by word of mouth, which further stated that this Holy Cross had been moved to the cemetery from the execution site, which was to be "on the factory".
