The monument to the fallen in World War I was during the bombing of our village in World War II. World War 1, April 1, 1945 completely shattered by a bomb that fell in its immediate vicinity. The fate of this monument was therefore remarkable, it can be figuratively said that the monument to the fallen in World War I "fell" in World War II. World War II, when the Red Army bombed the retreating German army. The ruins of the monument lay in its vicinity until 1947, when the Voluntary Fire Brigade of the village of Kátlovce contributed to its restoration.
