The statue, consecrated in 1774, stood in front of the cemetery and was made by Ján Šimkovič (Simkovits), originally a resident of Kátloviec and a local manorial miller, later a free citizen of Trnava. It was the aforementioned Calvary with the crucified Christ, at the feet of which stood a statue of the Virgin Mary with a pierced heart, two weeping angels stood on the sides. In 1822 it was financially provided by Juraj Martinovič.

The listed Calvary is mentioned as one of the few remarkable historical buildings in Kátlovce, as well as a list of monuments in Slovakia. The national cultural monument since 1963 is listed as the Cross and four sculptures, with a predominant style, the late Baroque.
